Alyssa Angle Named Miss Covington 2010!

At the Covington 175th Anniversary Queen’s Pageant, held on the evening of Saturday April 10th, Alyssa Angle was named Miss Covington 2010. Alyssa, who is a senior at Covington High School, is the daughter of Tim and Cindy Angle. As Miss Covington 2010, Alyssa will visit neighboring festivals and their parades in the weeks leading up to our festival, publicizing the happenings of the Covington 175th Anniversary Festival. She and her court will also reign over the festival in July. Alyssa and seven other young ladies from Covington High School competed in the pageant. Tara McNutt was first runner-up, Emily Fields was second runner-up, Rachael Rindler was third runner-up, and Nicole Henson was Miss Congeniality. Also competing in the pageant were Sasha Grilliot, Shaina Grilliot, and Myranda Kelly.

All eight girls did a wonderful job and their participation is greatly appreciated!
